Maple Glazed Walnuts

 

Ingredients:

  • 1 c walnuts

  • 1/4 c maple syrup

  • 1 t Blueberry Cardamom Bitters

  • pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Over medium/low heat, toss everything into a small non-stick skillet.

  2. Occasionally stir the nuts so they don’t burn. 5-8 minutes

  3. If maple syrup cooks too long it will start to crystallize and turn sandy. Don’t worry the flavor is the same.

  4. Allow nuts to cool completely and store in an air tight container.

  5. Add nuts to salads or eat as a sweet snack.
