Horse's Neck

  • 2 oz Bourbon

  • 1 oz ginger beer

  • 3 dashes Bitters Lab, Aromatic Bitters

  • Lemon peel for garnish

In a old-fashioned glass combine bourbon, ginger beer & bitters over ice. Garnish with a long lemon peel over the edge of the glass. Enjoy.

The Horse's Neck is a classic cocktail but was originally a non-alcoholic drink served in the late 1800's, made up of everything but the alcohol. In 1910 though, someone had the genius idea to start adding liquor, notably brandy or bourbon, to it and all rejoiced!
