Celery & coriander

Celery & Coriander is a seasonal flavor we offer from March - May every year, unless it sells out before that. We make smaller batch sizes and once that batch is gone, it’s gone until next year.

 

Try It In

Food:

  • Great in salsa & vinaigrette

  • Makes a great addition to stocks, soups & stews

Drinks:

  • Vodka, gin, rum, tequila, aquavit

  • Cocktail ideas: Bloody Mary, Pimms Cup, Gimlet (pictured below), Martini, Margarita 

 

Behind the Bitters

The variety of celery we use is called Utah Tall Celery grown locally by Bug Farms which has a bold, crisp bitterness that is salty, savory, very earthy & herbaceous, much more flavorful and exciting than your standard store-bought celery.  

We pair that with locally grown coriander from Pomona Produce which is harvested when it’s bright green and floral, before it flowers. This flavor is full of citrus and curry - it’s bright, vegetal and bitter. We really love the savory notes of this flavor and cannot get enough.
